Turnkey Interiors tendered on and was awarded the challenge of designing and building a large leading property company’s new head office in Sandton.

The brief was to move the client from their large corporate styled office in Rosebank, to a smaller space, which consisted of 4000sqm in the heart of Sandton.

Our team wanted to create an inviting new space that was warmer, brighter, friendlier, and created a sense of a home away from home, to encourage their staff to return to the office, since the recent global pandemic.

One of the challenges that we were faced with was the client’s requirement to utilise all their existing furniture, which made the space feel very cold and corporate.

We overcame this challenge by incorporating colourful pastels and timber finishes into functional elements such as new and unique power reticulation panels, refurbishing of existing pedestals and bringing in new softer furniture items throughout the remainder of their new home, which contributed to creating a warmer and homier space.
