A render vs reality showcase of our recently completed project.

This white box space was designed and transformed into a welcoming office space for the missionary couples.

Featuring minimalist design, warm wooden accents, and ample natural light to create a serene environment for reflection and focus.

Thoughtful workstations and a cozy kitchenette encourage all spaces to be utilized, while the calming atmosphere supports the mission of the church.

AON

AON has successfully completed a strategic consolidation, merging their Constantia branch with the Sandton branch at the prestigious 1 The Place, Sandton.

In a remarkable feat, we reimagined the entire ±5500 sqm floorplate to accommodate around 433 employees, embracing a new hot-desk style of working. To optimise efficiency and reduce waste, we resized all existing workstations at our joinery factory, ensuring a seamless transition for all staff members.

Operating in a live environment, we executed this transformation through a carefully planned phased approach. The revamped design includes dedicated wings for different departments, with one wing transformed into a dynamic meeting and collaboration space. Phone booths, informal touch-down zones, lounge areas, and state-of-the-art meeting rooms, creating a vibrant and flexible work environment.

HSRC (Human Sciences Research Council)

Turnkey Interiors successfully secured the tender bid to design the state-of-the-art showcase offices for the HSRC located in Cape Town. Situated in the vibrant Foreshore district, the new office space spans 4500m2, marking a significant reduction from their previous premises.

Our primary objective was to craft a dynamic and adaptable workspace that would comfortably accommodate the HSRC staff within the confines of the smaller office layout. As a State-Owned Entity, specific office allocations were mandated by the client, presenting us with the challenge of balancing designated offices with flexible hot desk solutions across the open-plan areas to cater to the full staff complement.

To address this challenge, we meticulously designed a variety of work zones, ranging from open meeting booths and phone booths to breakaway areas and formal boardrooms. These multifunctional spaces were tailored to support the transition to a hot desking environment while ensuring adequate office provisions.

The aesthetic and functional elements implemented in the new space will serve as a blueprint for standardizing the HSRC offices nationwide, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all locations.

STELLENBOSCH PROJECT

We were approached to assist with a multiple phase upgrade to a building that our client is the owner-occupier of.

Starting with the Sales wing, we completely gutted the existing, very dated and non functional space, and created a new and sophisticated workspace for the employees.

The aesthetic of the Sales wing has set the tone for the phases to follow.

ARGON ASSET MANAGEMENT

Argon has always had two separate offices within the same office park. When an adjacent space came available in their one building, they opted to use that as an opportunity to consolidate everybody under one roof.

Our brief was to create a new and holistic workspace for their team. By using elements of the original design, and elevating it, and through re-designing the space plan and work flow, we were able to create a timeless and sophisticated office environment for their team.
